Best African Hair Salon Dubai: Qasr Alshar’s Expert Touch
Why Qasr Alshar is Dubai’s Go-To African Hair Salon
Clients from Deira, Bur Dubai, and even Jumeirah come to us for authentic African hair care. At Qasr Alshar, our stylists train in Nairobi, Lagos, and Johannesburg, so every cornrow, faux loc, or box braid is crafted with real expertise. We’re a black friendly beauty salon in Dubai, serving all textures—fine, coily, relaxed, loc’d—without shortcuts.
Our team knows Dubai’s climate. We use moisture-locking products like Cantu Shea Butter, Aunt Jackie’s, and Mizani to prevent dryness and breakage after a long day in the city’s heat.
Natural Hair Care Dubai: Braids, Locs & More
Getting knotless or tribal braids? Our braiders finish a full head in 3–6 hours, depending on length and size. Crochet installs and cornrows are perfect for a protective style before your next beach trip.
Looking for a locs salon in Dubai? Price starts at AED 250 for starter locs and AED 180 for a retwist, depending on thickness and length. We use the palm roll or interlocking technique, after a careful scalp cleanse with sulfate-free shampoo. Our stylists can also repair thinning or combine locs, using human hair extensions when needed.
We style natural hair using the L.O.C. method (liquid-oil-cream), define curls with Eco Styler, and trim ends for healthy growth. Silk presses, twist-outs, and braid-outs are available—just let us know your go-to look.

Transparent Pricing & Real Results
We believe in upfront pricing for every service. Loc maintenance and box braids are quoted by length and thickness—no sudden upcharges at checkout. Our clients stay hours longer, sometimes chatting over Moroccan tea, because they feel welcome and understood.
